There are 3 types of omega 3
EPA means Eicosapentaenoic acid, This type of omega 3 is found in fish and also called as marine omega
DHA means docosahexaenoic acid, This omega 3 is also marine omega 2
ALA means alpha – linolenic acid, This omega 3 is found in plant based diet
When we get ALA from plants, it is ultimately converted to DHA and EPA.
Omega 3 helps to functions all cells as they should perform but it is highly concentrated in brain cells and eyes.
