Title is the first thing that a viewer reads in your YouTube thumbnail and caption. 

If you are targeting kid audience you need funny attractive cartoonish thumbnail because kids don't read caption, if you are targeting adult audience you need a very meaning full or confusing caption so they got curious that what's with this video I should watch it and then you content matters to get hold of your viewers precious watch time.
