Mohammad Siraj destroyed Sri Lanka's batting order with his fiery pace bowling.


In the Asia Cup final 2023, Mohammad Siraj set a world record with his destructive bowling.

He took 6 wickets for just 21 runs.


This is the highest in any one match in one-day cricket.


But Siraj had the opportunity to create a unique record.

He had taken 6 wickets in 7 overs.

Mohammad Siraj was on the verge of creating a feat of taking 7 wickets in a match, the first Indian bowler in ODI cricket history.

But at that point, the Indian captain Rohit Sharma stopped the team's main bowling weapon.

Along with explaining the reason for his duty as captain, Rohit added his praise for Siraj as a cricketer, 'It was a great experience to watch his bowling standing in the slips.
