The Uniform Civil Code { UCC } calls to the observation of one law for India, which is related by applicable to all religions and communities in matters such as marriage , divorce, adoption and inheritance . This code comes under Article 44 of the constitution, This Uniform bill will send to States and they gave responsibilities to implements in their states, will attempt to secure a Uniform Civil Code for the Citizens throughtout the territory of India.

The British rule implemented the Government to form the B N RAU Committee to order Hindu Law in 1941. The task of the Hindu law Committee was to examine the question to need of common Hindu Laws.The 1937 Act was reviewed and the committee recmented a Civil Code of marriage and succession for Hindus.

The Act of Hindu personal law and gave women greater property rights, and ownership. the property of women gave rights in their father's estate.The general rules of succession under Act 1956 to a male person who dies in class I succeed in heirs in other classes.
