SYNOPSIS : -

The Govt of UK is permitting remote work of Visitor Visas in their country, for this excercise to revise in rule and regulation  of visitor Visas.But emphasizing non work intent changes with including client work, to do working from the England and inflated activities for professionals, to aim to boost business and tourism.

From January 31, 2024 , the UK will amendment  important  changes to its Visitor Visas, to allowing according  to the updated immigration rules published by UK Government. 

Due to the new guidelines, Visitors will be allowing  to work for an overseas employer when they will stay in UK, but the condition  the initial intent of their visit must be Tourism visiting family or do not engaging non work related activity.

They can do Remote Work is conducted while staying must be directly linked to the Visitor as overseas employment. 

Visitor  Visa activities include : -

1. Client Work Eligibility :

Visitors ,who holding these Visas can engag in client work under certain conditions, with including working in  that company with branches both in UK and abroad. It is noted the project should not to pass on directly  to the UK client  by the visitor's employeroverseas.

2.Working  from the UK :- 

Visitors will allowed  to work from UK arranged that remote work  is not the primary reason for the visit.

3.Scientist,  Researchers, and Academics : -

The professionals  in these field can do research in UK with the condition  for a 12 months visit visa or providing permission  from within the country. 

4. Merger of Permitted Paid Engagement  ( PPE ) Visitor Route :-

The visitor route of PPE will attached in the Standard Visitor route. The individuals  engaged in paid activities should not require a another visa, but the fect they must De clear the plan their activities  within 30 days of arrival.

5.Expanded  Activities  for Lawyers : -

The Lawyers  on Visitor Visas can do participate  in additional  working in UK, which may have giving  advice, acting as an expert witness,  in legal proceedings  and teaching.

6.Paid Engagements for Speakers :-

Speakers visiting the UK on a Visitor visa will now be eligible to get payment  for their suggestions  and advices 

All these particular changes to allowing the remote work may be enhance business and Tourism  in United Kingdom. The Chancellor of the Exchequer Mr  Jeremy Hunt had accepted  to expanding  business  visitor rules to activate broader range permission  and paid engagements, including  the changes to set and take applicable  in January  2024. While the business  visitor rules are implemented  in 2024 in the next year.
