Noida International Airport (Jewer Airport):- This is new and Green Airport situated in Gautambudh Nagar Dist. Jewer. It will help in connecting International Flights to the public from Delhi NCR, Western Uttar Pradesh. The Noida International Airport will be completed in Four Phase and once it is completed approximately 7 crore passengers can get benefitted. It will have Two Terminals. The total area of the airport is 5000 acres. The first phase will cater to around 1.20 crore passengers and at the time of writing this article it has reached 20% completion and probably by September 2024 it may open for public use.
Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System(RRTS). This 82.5 Km Rapid Rail system is expected to be ready in the first phase of the 17 Km section between Sahibabad and Duhai to begin by the end of 2023 and opened to the public and it may be Unique and new in India. It is designed to run at a speed of 180 km per hour but initially, it may run between 150 to 160 km/ph the average speed is expected to be 100 km/ph. This train starts from Sarai Kalekan in Delhi to Modipuram in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. There are 25 stations in this Section. Out of 25 stations, 3 will be in Delhi and the remaining 22 will be in Uttar Pradesh. It is expected to be completed the entire 82.5 Km route by the end of 2025.
Navi Mumbai International Airport- Green Field:- Mumbai is called the Finacial Capital of India which is having a large working population with a limited area in surface to expand it. However, the accusations of land has completed and this is good news for this project. This Airport construction started in August 2021 just two years back. Compare to passengers the Internation Airport is fewer in number. It will be completed in 3 phases. and In the first phase, it can cater to 25 million passengers per annum. On completion of its 3rd phase, It is expected to benefit 90 million passengers. In addition to passengers, 1.25 lakh tons of Cargo are also to be handled in this Airport which is another good news being Business Capital of India. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. The total cost is Rs. 16,700 crores and the total area of the International Airport is 1.160 hectares.
Bengaluru Metro::- (Namma Metro) 40 Km long Metro is likely to be opened to the public very soon. It will connect two IT Hubs ( White Field & Electronic City) and this will boost business further many folds., It is expected to open 15 km routes before October 2023 end which can help the passengers a great relief from traffic jams.
Mumbai Trans Harbour Link(MTHL): 22 Km longest bridge over the sea in India and will be connected with Navi Mumbai also known as Sea Link having Six Lanes. Out of 22 Km 16.5 Km will be in the Sea and balance in land surface. At present South Mumbai to Navi Mumbai by road takes more than two hours but with this Bridge, the time will be reduced to 20 minutes only.. 90% work has been completed, and by the end of 2023 it will open to the public.
Mumbai Metro: It is assumed that by the end of 2023, two lines( Yellow & Red lines) are going to open the public. It is also expected to have a third line at the beginning of 2024. It is going to operate from Underground tunnels which is booming for Mumbai. It is going to connect all the important Financial Hubs of Mumbai.
Kochi Water Metro - Kochi Water Metro is an integrated ferry transport system serving the Greater Kochi region of Kerala. This metro will be different from other metros because instead of a Metro coach, it will more or less look like a Boat. In Kerala, there are so many Islands and this Water Metro will interconnect all. This will be the first ever kind of this type. One lakh people can get benefit from this water metro
The Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFCCIL): In October 2006 this project was initiated to facilitate the Freight Cargo Services at full speed. Earlier Goods train and Passengers Train both run on the same track. The disadvantage of this was whenever to passenger train passed, the goods train was sidetracked in the station and left it un noticed for hours together and waste of time, and money, and sometimes goods also get spoiled due to heat and time. To overcome this problem the DFCs were introduced. At present, there are two such coordinators are there. One Western Dedicated Freight Corridor of 1506 Kilometres starts from Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Mumbai to Dadri in Uttar Pradesh. and another the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor which covers 3,260 Kilometres and starts from Ludhiana in Punjab to Dankuni in West Bengal. Some portions of the DFCCIL have been opened and traffic has started.
Delhi Mumbai Expressway:- One of the most important and longest expressways. At present, it takes 24 hours by road but once this expressway is completed it is expected to reduce the time from 24 hours to 13 hours only. The work is in full force in a 1,350 KM long expressway. Approximately one lakh crore expenditure is going to spend on this 8-lane which can be expandable up to 12 lanes most important expressway. This starts from Sohna in Haryana and ends at Mumbai Jawaharlal Nehru Port. This will go through Five States Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. Some portion has already been completed and the balance will be completed by 2024.
