'The Staff Selection Commission of India' in it's recent notification advertises for recruitment in Stenographer posts.

Now have a look on what SSC notifies about the criteria and other relevant requirements for applying in these vacant posts. 

Total number of posts vacant : 1207. 

1. Stenographer Grade 'C'
2. Stenographer Grade 'D'.

Age Limit :

30 years for Group C and 27 Years for Group D candidates. 

Relaxation of age :

1. SC/ST : 5 Years. 
2. OBC    : 3 Years.  
3. PwD    : 10 Years. 

Salary Structure :

Grade C : Pay Scale + Grade Pay Rs.4200/4600. 

Grade D : Pay Scale + Grade Pay Rs.2400. 

Candidates citizenship criteria :

1. Must be an Indian citizen. 
                   Or,
2. A subject from Bhutan/Nepal/Tibetan refugee. 
                   Or,
3. Originally Indian but lived in other countries like Pakistan/Sri Lanka/Myanmar and came to India through migration. 
                 Or, 
4. Persons from East African countries of Zambia, Ethiopia, Vietnam,Kenya, United Republic of Tanzania,Uganda who came to India intentionally for permanent settlement. 

Eligibility criteria :

12th Standard or equivalent from any recognized Board. 

The selection process is as follows :

1. Open computer based online exam (Multiple Choice-objective Type)

2. Skill test in relevant field. 

3. Verification of required documents. 

4. Medical and Physical standard test for related posts. 

Subject-wise syllabus for examination :
GI & Reasoning 
50 Marks. 

General Awareness
50 Marks. 

English language and Comprehension test
100 Marks. 

About application fees :

1. UR and OBC 
100/- only. 

2. No Fees in case of SC/ST/PwD/ESM. 

3. Women candidates belonging to any section can apply without any fee. 

Fees Payment mode :

1. Online payment of fees via UPI/Credit or Debit Card/Net banking. 

2. Cash payment can be done by generating SBI Challan at any SBI Branch. 

Process of applying :

Candidates should fill up their application form online and submit it through the official site of SSC. 

Required to upload the scanned colouring passport sized photos in 10-20 KB JPEG/JPG format.

of submitting  online application and paying required fees -- 23/08/2023 and must before 11 pm.
