Agnipath is a Central Government Scheme,a Golden option for Indian youths to serve the country as Army personal. 

The person who will be recruited under this scheme will be designated as Agniveer.

Age :

Not exceeding 21 years. 
Candidates should be born 27//06/2003 to 27/12/2006 (both dates inclusive). 

The upper age limit should be 21 years as on the enrollment date. 

Salary regarding :

1st year - 30,000/- per month. 
2nd year - 30,000/- per month. 
3rd year - 36,500/- per month. 
4th year - 40,000/- per month. 

Under the Seva Nidhi Package approx 10 Lakhs will be allocated. 

Eligibility Criteria :

1) Science Stream :

Passed with Physics,Math and English in 10+2/equivalent exam,at least 50% Marks in English from any Education Board (listed member of COBSE ). 
                   Or
Passed 3 years Diploma in Engineering in Automobile/Computer Science/mechanical/IT/Instrumentation Technology from a government recognized Polytechnic Institute ( 50% marks in English).  
                  Or,  
Passed 2 years vocational course with non vocational subjects as Math and Physics aggregate 50% Marks in vocational course and 50% marks in English from State education board (Listed in COBSE).

Other than Science Stream :

Passed 10+2/equivalent in any subject from Central or State approved board (listed in COBSE) with aggregate 50% and 50% in English. 
                          Or,
 Passed  2 years professional course from an education board (Listed in COBSE)  with at least 50% aggregate and 50% in English.

Selection Procedure : 

Candidates will go through :

PET  (physical efficiency test)

PMT (physical measurement test) conducted by Central Airman Selection Board(CASB).  
Adaptability test -1
Adaptability test -2
Sream Proficiency Test. 

Medical Exam.

Gynaecological Test (for female candidates):

It will identify hernia onfices and the perineum,evidence of stress,urinary incontinence, external genitalia and genital prolapse outside introitus.

Syllabus Pattern :

Applicants having -
1) Science subjects :

60 minutes exam on English,Math and Physics as per  10+2 CBSE pattern. 

2) Other than science subjects :

45 minutes exam comprised of subjects English as per 10+2 CBSE pattern, Reasoning and General Awareness. 

3) Science subject and other than science subjects :

85 minutes exam having subjects English,Math and physics as per 10+2 CBSE pattern,Reasoning & General Awareness.

Physical Standards :

Height

: minimum 152.5 cm. 

Chest :

should be proportionate with 5 cm minimum expansion range.

Weight :

proportionate as of age and height. 

Hearing capability :

Candidates should have 6 meters distance forced whisper hearing ability separately with each ear.

Dental Fitness :

Having at least 14 dental points applicants should be of well teeth set up with healthy gums. 

Visual standards :

6/12 each eye correctable to 6/6.

General Health :

Physique with normal Anatomy without losing any appendage. 
 
Applicants should be free from any chronic infection,skin ailments, disabilities caused by any medicine or surgery.

Candidates undergone Corneal surgery (LASIK/PRK) will not be accepted.

Applicants have to be prepared and fit both mentally and physically to perform their duties in any part of the world under any climate and circumstances.

 250/- for all candidates.

Air Force Agniveers will not be contributed any gratuity,PF and pensions. 

But they will have non contributory life insurance of 48 lakhs coverage during their engagement periods :

Contribution for disability. 

Contribution for death. 

4 years of job in total where 6 months training duration and 3.5 years of deployment. 

After completing the tenure for 4 years, 25% among them will be recruited again. 

Rest 75% will have the priority in public and private sectors jobs as trained,disciplined and skilled Workforce. Their contribution will play a vital role in Nation building.
