Humanitarian Siraj donated the entire prize money of the match as the best player in the Asia Cup final.

Mohammed Siraj has crushed Sri Lanka in the 'Asia Cup 2023 Final' with a dream bowling spell.

India bowled out Sri Lanka for just 50 runs on the basis of his brilliant bowling.

After being named the man of the match, he donated the entire prize money to the groundsmen.

He said, "This prize money is for the groundsmen. Without them, this tournament would not have been possible."

"I have been bowling well for a long time. But today all the balls landed on target. The ball was seaming on this pitch and it also swung today. That's why I was bowling full length.

It is worth mentioning that even before Siraj donated the money from his man of the match award to the groundsmen, Asian Cricket Council chairman Jay Shah had announced the prize money for the groundsmen in Kandy and Colombo.

He announced an financial award of about Rs 41.5 lakh in Indian currency for the hard work of the groundsmen on his social media.
