Benefits of drinking water:
Every person is following some technique to get rid of constipation (In general). My explanations below are my practical experiences along with theory
First Question: How much water should be taken as first thing in the morning?
Scientifically, we should drink as much water as our kidneys can filter / excrete. Kidney of an adult can eliminate approx. 1 liter of water per hour.
Secondly, we should take only that much quantity of water which does not make us uncomfortable.
Means: If one person can handle one glass of water at one time, he should restrict him to one glass only. After 20 – 30 minutes he can have one more glass.
Water in higher quantities is harmful because of below mentioned reasons:
Harmful effects of excess water:
Due to imbalance of electrolytes, most affected is level of SODIUM in our body. Imbalanced level of sodium leads to risk of having seizures, person can go in Coma or even die.
COMMON THING IN OUR TODAY’S LIFESTYLE:
Whenever we are thirsty, we tend to have soft drinks instead of water.
This habit can lead to immediate spike of sugar and gush release off insulin which is favourable condition for development of diabetes.
Water is universal solvent and can never be replaced
SUGGESTION:
If one does not feel to drink water every time, he can go for buttermilk (Salt / Sugar), sugarcane juice or other similar options as per his geographical conditions and easy availability.
Water rich vegetables and fruits can also help to prevent thirst and is beneficial for our body
