Golden Era of Indian chess returns back with the tremendous performance made by 18 years old Praggnanandaa in Baku FIDE Chess World Cup 2023.

After spending 11 years draught time (as Vishwanathan Anand won last in 2012) Indian chess finds a ray of hope ultimately in the International level.
Rameshbabu Praggananda, an 18 years Indian boy who makes a world record by moving into World chess final,2023 and ranks Runners up defeated by World top ranked Magnus Carlsen from Norway ( final result 2.5 - 1.5).
But in Final Pragga performs tremendous and thrown tough challenge against his hard opponent staking 5 top World Class winner prizes.
A hard final contest as first previous 2 rounds ended in a draw and final round was the tie-breaker.
Praggananda born in 10th August,2005 started playing chess when he was just 4.5 years old and own several awards in his Chess carrer.
He was being considered as the perfect successor of Vishwanathan Anand,the consecutive five times World Chess champion.
And this teenager chess master proves his ability and caliber being the second participant from India next to Anand after reaching into the final.
He establishes his never bowing down and never giving up mentality by defeating several tough opponents having more advanced world ranking than himself.
Like Anand he too always gets support from his mother who stays with him in every tournament that provides him a mental advantage forever.
Belonging to a middle class family whose father Rameshbabu,a simple bank employee and mother Nag Laxmi,a housemaker, this Gen Next chess performer set up his tremendous instance of excellent gaming skill throughout the tournament.
1) French Grandmaster Maxime Lagarde by 1.5 - 0.5.
2) Czech GM David Navara by 1.5 - 0.5.
3) World No.2 Hikaro Nakamura by 3 -1.
4) Hungarian Ferece Berkes by 1.5 - 0.5.
5) World No.3 Fabiano Caruana in Semi by 3.5 - 2.5.

There has been another record for Pragga of becoming the youngest player of the world who plays in final and the third youngest one qualifying for the prestigious Candidates Tournament,2024.
The winner of this tournament will challenge Ding Lirean, the defending world champion.
Even though being defeated in Final Pragga gets reward of 80,000 USD (approx 66,13,400 INR).
If he would be the champion he would have been rewarded 110,000 USD (approx 90,93,550 INR).
The total price pool was of approx 1,51,392,240 INR.
PM Modi congrats the Indian cheese caliber for his outstanding performance by throwing a tough contest against his stable and strong opponents.
Progga though lost his final match but this youngster takes Indian chess into the newspaper front page by defeating chess Giants all over the world.
According to the Chess experts opinion, Pragga's achievement is just "tectonic and seminal."
Praggnanandaa may miss to be the Champion but he takes India on the winning tracks again in like such World championship tournaments.
His achievement will surely act as a Boster Dose for the next chess talents of India.
