As many beneficiary farmers eagerly await the upcoming installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, there is hope that the funds will be released sometime in November or December 2023. However, as of now, no official announcement from the Central government has confirmed this timeline. The 14th installment of the scheme was previously distributed on July 27, 2023.

Under the PM-KISAN scheme, all landholding farmer families receive an annual financial benefit of Rs 6,000, provided in three equal installments of Rs 2,000.

The PM Kisan Yojana, a centrally sponsored scheme, aims to provide income support to landholding farmer families across the nation to address their financial needs for agricultural and related activities. The government bears the entire financial responsibility for transferring benefits to the eligible beneficiaries.

Eligibility for the PM Kisan Scheme

All landholding farmer families with cultivable land in their names are eligible to receive benefits through the PM Kisan scheme.

In the previous disbursement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released approximately Rs 17,000 crore as the 14th installment to around 85 million farmer beneficiaries under the PM-KISAN scheme on July 27, 2023. This brought the total amount disbursed to beneficiaries since the scheme's inception to over Rs 2.59 lakh crore.

The PM Kisan scheme was officially launched on February 24, 2019, and it has provided benefits exceeding Rs 2.42 lakh crore to more than 110 million farmers across the nation.

Visit the official website at pmkisan.gov.in.
Go to the "Farmer’s Corner."
Select "New Farmer Registration" and enter your Aadhar number along with the captcha.
Provide the necessary details and click "Yes."
Complete the information in the PM Kisan application form for 2023, save it, and keep a printout for future reference.
