OMG 2, the much-awaited sequel to the 2012 blockbuster OH MY GOD, hits the theatres today. The movie is directed by Amit Rai. In this movie Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi & Yami Gautam are in lead roles.

The movie is based on the concept how the religion & spirituality affects the lives of people. The story revolves around Akshay Kumar, who claims to be a modern-day Godman & some of his perverted followers. The plot then takes a turn to expose the dark secrets of these Godmen and their malicious intentions. How the protagonist exposes the wrongdoings and brings justice forms the crux of the story.

OMG 2 engages well with the audience from the very beginning and keeps them hooked throughout. The movie is a visual delight, thanks to the brilliant camera work & direction. The performances of the lead actors are commendable, especially Pankaj Tripathi, who steals the show with his impeccable acting skills.

However, the movie has its some drawbacks. At times the screenplay seems stretched & some of the sub-plots do not add any value to the story-line. The runtime of the movie could have been shorter to make it more crisp and engaging.

Overall, OMG 2 is a must-watch for people who are interested in the nuances of religion & the exploitation of faith for personal gains. OMG 2 is a Bollywood comedy drama film that serves a mix of satire with a moral message. The sequel to the film "OMG" Oh My God released in 2012 delivers a fresh plotline and it tries to leave the same impact as its predecessor.

The movie's plot revolves around a businessman named Krishna (Akshay Kumar), who is fighting a land-grabbing case against the corrupt builder (played by Nikhil Advani). Movie is no doubt outstanding. Acting performance by Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi is just outstanding basically the relationship between God and the common people is just heart touching. Dialogue delivery, screenplay, bgm, songs and emotions also looks fabulous and realistic and also the court room drama between Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi , just mind-blowing. A sure shot blockbuster.

Bold. Brave. Progressive… It conveys what it intends to without mincing words. OMG2 has a captivating plot, gripping screenwriting and solid dialogues, but what enhances the impact are the towering performance.

Akshay Kumar is in terrific form, Pankaj Tripathi delivers his career-best act, Yami Gautam is fantastic and Pawan Malhotra excels.

OMG2 has some unforgettable moments, especially the courtroom sequences, but tends to get talk-heavy at times.

OMG2 faces a mighty opponent in Gadar2. Clearly, this is not a film that will commence its journey with great numbers at the boxoffice, but has the power to grow with strong word of mouth.
