OSEPA Junior Teacher Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 38 years as of 13th September 2023.
Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC, ST, Women & SEBC, Plus 10 years for PwD.
OSEPA Junior Teacher Salary:
First Three Years as Junior Teacher (Schematic): ₹ 11,000/- per month excluding EPF of employer share.
Next 03 Years as Junior Teacher: ₹ 13,800/- per month excluding EPF of employer share.
After 06 years of continuous and Satisfactory service will be appointed as a Regular Elementary Teacher: ₹ 23,600/- per month and D.A., HRA, and other allowances.
OSEPA Junior Teacher Eligibility Criteria:
Junior Teacher (For Classes I to V):
(1) Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (OR) Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations,2002 (OR) Higher Secondary (+2) or it is equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) (OR) Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (OR) Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
(2) The candidates must have passed the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test-I (OTET-I).
(3) The Candidates must have Odia language as MIL up to 10th class or pass in Odia language test equivalent to the Matric standard conducted or declared equivalent by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
✔️ Junior Teacher (For Classes VI to VIII):
(1) Graduation and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (OR) At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (OR) Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) (OR) Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 04 years B. A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. (OR) Graduation with at least 50% marks and 01-year B.Ed (Special Education) (OR) Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed - M.Ed.
(2) Pass in Odisha Eligibility Test-II (OTET-II).
(3) Candidates must have Odia as MIL up to class X or pass in Odia language test equivalent to the Matric standard conducted or declared equivalent by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
