Karachi: On August 16 - two days after the festival of Freedom Day in Pakistan - a horde burnt five temples and a few houses in Punjab locale's Jaranwala town over charges of lewdness.
The occasions occurred after a first data report (FIR) was stopped early morning on Wednesday (August 16) against Raja Amir Masih - an inhabitant of the Christian State, known as Film Basti - for purportedly committing lewdness.
As per a few reports, a few neighborhood Muslims blamed Raja Amir and his companion for defiling the Heavenly Quran and offering frightful remarks.
The two of them hailed from the Film Basti region, a Christian state.
A declaration was produced using the Mehtab Mosque, where a man was seen prompting local people through an amplifier, saying: "Who will battle against the individuals who contaminated the heavenly Quran, while you sit and eat at your homes.
Following the declaration, the horde went after the area and consumed temples and houses.
The police have captured Raja Amir under areas 295 B and C for purportedly profaning the sacred Quran and composing slanderous comments about the Prophet.
The one who made the declaration from the mosque has been captured.
A FIR has been enrolled against the horde. As per local people, fanatic gatherings, for example, the Jamaat-Ahle-Sunnat and Tehreek-I-Labbaik Pakistan drove the horde.
