According to Mamta Banerjee while she was addressing in public place meeting at Nadia District , her party was very intersted to claim an alliance with the Congress for the Lok Sabha elections. The Congress party did not pay attantion and rejected her proposal.  West Bangal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee speaks in a public place at Santipur in Nadia district , Thusday 1st Feburary , she was eager to form Government in New Delhi with alliance of INDIA  along with Congress but the oldest party reffused her proposal.

The Chief Minister and Supremo of Trinamool Congress Mamta Banerjee on Thusday told that a post - poll alliance with the other regional parties will created Government after the Lok Sabha polls , if they all in position to form government  by winning comfortable seats . Ms Banerjee was fully in confidance that  BJP will lose the election, she told that when the pools are over , the TMC { Trinamool Congress } , along with other regional parties, will decide on the situation and strategy to claim Government in the Centre.

In West Bengal the  ' salogan '  Maa Mati Manush is sufficent, she told that i will remain with you if you are all with me . I am giving my promise that after the polls , when we will win LOK SABHA with the help of regional parties. Than we will discussed with our alliance including regional parties to form the Government in Delhi.  She told that i am not ready to go with the CPI { M }. 

The TMC Chief has declared that her party would contest solo in the Lok Sabha elections later in the year 2024 .  In a event  when Ms Banerjee addressing in Nadia district , Mamta Banerjee told that her party was decide to form an alliance with the Congress for the Lok Sabha elections . But the Congress party didnot pay eagerness and rejected her proposal. Mamta Banerjee said that we wanted an alliance, but Congress didnot agree to her proposal. They have joined with CPI {  M  } to assist BJP in the elections. We are only ones who can defeat BJP in the nation. 

Mamta Banerjee told that her party had given offered 2 seats to the Congress party in Malda district but the Congress party rejected the offer. She told that TMC will fight elections individual and will remains parts of the INDIA alliance.
