Now Chandrayaan-3 changed its orbit again at 2:00 pm. He reached 25 km close to the surface of the moon. The lander will commence landing on 23rd at 5:45 PM.
Waiting for sunrise on the surface of the Moon. Chandrayaan-3 has achieved success in reaching the orbit of 134 km 25 times through the last deboosting process. The lander is completely healthy. The internal probe awaits sunrise over the designated landing site on the Moon's south pole. As per ISRO's revised timing, the Vikram lander will begin landing at 5:45 am on August 23 from an altitude of 25 km. The lander will touch the lunar surface at around 6:04 am. More than 150 kg of fuel is still left in the propulsion, now it will go around the moon for years.
There is also a good news before the landing of Vikram that there is more than 150 kg of fuel left in the population module. This will keep it active in the Moon's orbit for several years instead of the estimated 3 to 6 months. ISRO chairman S. Confirming this, Somnath has said that there is much more fuel left in the propulsion module than expected. Due to no emergency on the way to reach the moon, there has been no improvement in the route.
Due to this fuel is spent less. At the time of launch on 14 July, the propellant was loaded with 1696.4 kg of fuel. Before separating from the lander, the propulsion made the lander five orbits of the Earth and five moons, in which the rest of the fuel was spent. In addition to the camera in the Preparation Module, there is an instrument, which will detect the signs of life on the Earth from the orbit of the moon. This experiment will be helpful in exploring the possibility of life on other planets.
