latest news of chandrayaan-3
Congratulation to Isro and all Indian citizens the Chandrayaan -3 is going to a safe landing on the moon. It’s a piece of very great news for India. NASA launched chandrayaan-3 and sends it to the moon the chandrayaan-3 started its journey on July 14th and finally today 23 August 2023 18:04 it will land on the moon's surface. Now India is going to make a great history in the world to complete a successful mission with the best efforts of Isro scientists, the spectacle chandrayaan -3 landing status will be available live on Isro's official website. it could be surprising for many to know that India in 2008 executed a daring crash landing of its spacecraft on the surface of the moon now it is a great move for India and a proud moment for each and every Indian.
Chandrayaan-3 mission and launching
Chandrayaan-3 was launched on July 14th, 2023 at 14:35 ist as scheduled by Satish Dhawan space center's second launch pad in Shriharikota Andhra Pradesh India. It is anticipated that the chandrayaan-3 mission will achieve a soft landing on the lunar South Pole Region on 23rd August 2023. Choosing the month of July for the launch of chandrayaan-3 was a special move because of the calculation is made by Isro regarding the closeness of Earth and the moon

What is chandrayaan-3
Chandrayaan-3 is the third and most recent lunar exploration mission under the chandrayaan program of Isro. It consists of a Lander named Vikram and a rover named Pragyan similar to chandrayaan-2 with improvements to help ensure a safe landing. It will be carried to lunar orbit by the propulsion module which will remain in orbit around the moon and act as a communication relay satellite
Objectives
Isro has set the following mission objectives for the chandrayaan -3 missions
1. in-site observation and conducting experiments on the material on the lunar surface to better understand the composition of the moon
2 . Getting a lander to land safely and softy on the moon's surface
3. Observing and demonstrating the rovers loitering capabilities on the moon
4. chandrayaan-3 have capable the collect data that will prove to be crucial in the larger scheme of lunar exploration initiatives in future
Spacecraft
Chandrayaan-3 has three main components
1...propulsion module
The propulsion module will carry the Lander and rover configuration till the 100 km lunar orbit. It is a box-like structure with one larger solar panel mounted on one side and a large cylinder on top. That acts as a mounting structure for the Lander
2.. Lander
Lander is responsible for the soft landing on the moon. It is also box-shaped with four landing legs and four landing thrusters of 800 Newton’s each. It will be carrying the rover and various scientific instruments to perform in–site analysis.
3….Rover
- Six-wheel designed
- Mass of 26 kilograms (57 pounds)
- Range of 500 meters
- Dimension : 917 millimetres x 750 millimetres x 397 millimetres
The chandrayaan-3 rover is expected to make a number of important scientific discoveries, including:
- The composition of the lunar surface
- The presence of water ice in the lunar soil
- The history of lunar impacts
- The evolution of the moon s atmosphere
