Indian Space Research Organisation:-
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was established in 1969 with the intention of establishing an independent space program for the country। Its main office is in Bengaluru (previously Bangalore)। A chairman of the Indian government's Space Commission and secretary of the Department of Space is also the chief executive of ISRO.
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) runs through a nationwide network of centres। Ahmedabad's Space Applications Centre develops sensors and payloads। The U R Rao Satellite Centre (previously known as ISRO) in Bengaluru is where satellites are designed, developed, assembled, and tested। Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre in Thiruvananthapuram is where launch vehicles are developed। Launches are held at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre on Sriharikota Island, which is close to Chennai। मुख्य नियंत्रण उपकरण Hassan and Bhopal have geostationary satellite stations। The National Remote Sensing Centre in Hyderabad has facilities for receiving and processing remote sensing data। Antrix Corporation, whose headquarters are in Bengaluru, is ISOR's commercial arm.
On April 19, 1975, the Soviet Union launched the first satellite of the IISRO, Aryabhata। On July 18, 1980, the Satellite Launch Vehicle 3—also known as Rohini—was the first satellite placed in orbit by an Indian launch vehicle। Indian Remote Sensing (IRS) satellites for resource management and monitoring and the Indian National Satellite (INSAT) system for telecommunication, television broadcasting, meteorology, and disaster warning are among the space systems that ISRO has launched। The first INSAT came into existence in 1988, and the program grew to include geosynchronous satellites known as GSAT। Additionally, the first IRS satellite was launched in 1988. Since then, the program has developed more specialized satellites, such as the Radar Imaging Satellite-1 (RISAT-1, launched in 2012) and the satellite with Argos and Altika (SARAL, launched in 2013), which was a joint mission between India and France to calculate ocean wave heights। बाद में ISRO ने तीन और rocket बनाए: the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) that puts satellites into polar orbit, the Geostationary Space Launch Vehicle (GSLV) that puts satellites into geostationary orbit, and the LVM3, a heavy-lift version of the GSLV। ISRO plans to send astronauts into orbit with these rockets. These rockets have launched communications satellites and Earth-observation satellites, as well as missions to the Moon (Chandrayaan-1, 2008; Chandrayaan-2, 2019), Mars (Mars Orbit[1]er Mission, 2013), and Chandrayaan-3 in 2023.
