Most Indians are keeping their fingers crossed as our Prestigious Moon Mission Chandrayaan-3 is set to land on the lunar surface today 23.8.2023 evening. People with faith in God are Praying and some started arranging for Parties. Our most highly qualified  Scientists predicting "20 minutes of terror" before the touchdown.

The Chandrayan 3  landing time is at 6.04 pm today which is 23.8.2023 - will be telecast live across the country.  Most Schools are planning to open for the Historic Event also  Space enthusiasts are organizing parties in anticipation of the most important as well historic moment.   The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, who is attending the BRICS summit in South Africa, will join with all online. 

Our Scientists of the  ISRO have expressed confidence that the landing will take place without any difficulty, as the scientists have incorporated all the valuable lessons they learned from Chandrayaan-2.   

The Vikram lander, carrying the rover Pragyaan, will attempt a soft landing on the moon's South Pole at 6.04 pm today 23.8.2023 and the Live telecast of the same through ISRO website will start at 5.20 pm.   Doordarshan News, the National Broadcaster will also join in this Prestigious moment.

Further, the ISRO   released images of the moon photographed from a height of around 70 km and they said the mission on Tuesday is on schedule and systems are undergoing regular checks. "Smooth sailing is continuing. The Mission Operations Complex (at ISRO) is buzzed with energy and excitement!" ISRO posted on X, formerly Twitter. 

As per Scientists due care has been taken in respect of location.  The area, which yielded traces of water, is expected to hold the key to lunar water ice, which could be a hugely valuable resource. That there is water on the moon's surface was detected by a NASA instrument aboard the ISRO's Chandrayaan-1 probe in 2009. 

The presence of water holds expect future moon missions - it very well may be utilized as a wellspring of drinking water, to chill gear, and severed to deliver oxygen. It can likewise have signs at the starting points of the sea.
