KoEducation News: This institution, modelled after a gurukul, provides free instruction as well as instruction in the scriptures to students.

The school is of the opinion that kids should learn both classical and contemporary languages. Because of this, children receive both a modern education and instruction in the scriptures.
Khargone and Deepak Pandey. In the past, Gurukuls served as educational institutions instead of schools. In which the youngster was taught about weaponry and given religious texts. When children stayed in these Gurukuls (Ashrams), they received their education at no cost. But as things changed, so did the educational system. Gurus are now teachers, and gurukuls have been replaced by schools. Additionally, the cost of education has increased to the point where the average person cannot afford to provide their children with a quality education. In such a setting, a school is still operating today on the models of Gurukul and children's homes.
Dr. Swami Guru Sharananand operates this school as Maa Sharanam Ashram in the Madhya Pradesh village of Kavadia in the Khargone district. In addition to the school, Gurukul is operated here. where children are provided with free housing, food, and education. Here, too, kids receive education, just like at Gurukul. Like the Gurukul, the ashram's children live in dhoti kurta environments. Schools and gurukuls teach their students on carpets laid out on the ground rather than a table and chair.
According to the school's principal, Mahesh Patidar, the ashram (Gurukul) and school both began operations in this location in 2015. Children are educated at the school through high school. The MP Board's recommended curriculum is taught. 125 kids currently attend the school on a regular basis and receive free instruction. Every day, these kids come here to attend classes before going home. In addition to this, there are 45 more kids in Gurukul who are staying here to receive an education. These kids are taught about texts, yoga, and spirituality in addition to the curriculum. All costs associated with the youngsters residing in Gurukul are covered by the institution.
Children receive assistance with higher education
He stated that these children, who come from low-income households and are unable to attend school, are admitted here. The majority of the kids in this place are from the tribal class. The kids' parents only give them one set of clothes before leaving them here. These kids who don't have parents are also admitted here along with this. The Gurukul provides education for the kids there up to class 10, and the school also helps out financially when they decide to continue their education outside of the Gurukul. Numerous children of this type are still residing at Gurukul to continue their education. The organisation also covers the costs of the children of Gurukul who are staying here and continuing their education. Children from Gurukul who attend school in large cities like Indore are also covered by the institution for their meal and beverage costs. According to the organisation, kids should learn about both ancient and present periods. Because of this, children receive both a modern education and instruction in the scriptures. There is a regular 25–30 minute Havan of the Pancha Deities in this, in addition to the study of Shreeshukta, Ratri Shukta, and Isha Upanishad, and a yoga practise in which all the kids take part. Additionally, kids receive training in trades like plumbing, carpentry, and electrician on a hand scale.
There are morning and evening services. To give the kids the impression that they are in a gurukul, all of the deities have temples built on the grounds of the ashram. In addition to this, Radha Krishna Temple, Mahadev Temple, Hanuman Temple, Mata Kali Temple, Gurudwara, and Yagya Shala are also established here. This is where Anandamai, the founder of Gurukul, built his temple and meditation centre. Every morning and evening, aarti is performed and there is worship in the temples. A garden has also been created here, where a variety of fruit, shade-loving, medicinal plants, and vegetable plants are all grown entirely organically. In these premises, Gaushala is also operated. Cows' milk and the fruits and vegetables they produce are utilised for
The youngsters of the Gurukul are fed using the milk, fruits, and vegetables collected from the cows.
