BCCI examining decisions for India-Pakistan World Cup match date

The World Cup timetable might see a slight change following disclosures that Ahmedabad police have purportedly communicated their failure to give security to the India-Pakistan game on October 15 as it matches with the principal day of the sacrosanct Navaratri celebration. The Leading group of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is accepted to investigate choices, one of them being to propel the match by a day to October 14.

Notwithstanding, the choice, apparently, is more straightforward idea than carried out. With Pakistan playing a game against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad only two days sooner, on October 12, it may not be workable for the group to play the high-voltage game 48 hours after the fact.

In addition, there are two different games planned for October 14 - New Zealand versus Bangladesh in Chennai (beginning at 10:30 am) and Britain versus Afghanistan in New Delhi, beginning at 2 pm. Including a third match that very day, that to an India-Pakistan challenge, may cause worries for the telecasters and result in calculated and functional bad dreams for the coordinators.

Right now, apparently the BCCI is investigating different choices. Be that as it may, there has not been any conventional correspondence to the Global Cricket Chamber (ICC) or the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), albeit a few sensors might have been given to the two bodies. Cricbuzz connected with the ICC and Ahmedabad city police for a remark yet will be yet to get a proper answer. There was no reaction from the BCCI by the same token.

It is presently apparent that simply propelling the India-Pakistan match date may not tackle the issue. The change will probably have a cascading type of influence, and this is the matter that the BCCI is accepted to grapple with. It is normal that some kind of arrangement might be worked out at the gathering of the facilitating affiliations, booked for Thursday, in New Delhi.

The World Cup begins on October 5 and closes on November 19, with Ahmedabad being the scene of both matches.
