Unpacking Section 370: A Game Changer Indeed!
Article 370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir 4 years ago. The date was August 5, 2019 and the Amarnath Yatra, the festival of most Hindus, was stopped midway. There was a wave of happiness all over India. Such a historic decision which came after 72 years of India's independence, in which Bharatiya Janata Party had a role and this decision by our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji brought a wave of happiness in the whole country.
The era of terror started from the year 1986-87. Which has reduced a lot now. After the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the atmosphere there has changed. The phase of violence is over and even stone pelting has ended.
A package of Rs 28,400 crore was also given to Jammu and Kashmir two years ago. To improve the conditions and speed of business there.
Muharram procession was also taken out after 34 years in Srinagar's Guru Bazar, in which Farooq Abdullah, Governor Manoj Sinha participated, very peaceful and harmonious.
In the year 2020, around 221 terrorists were killed by the Indian Army. The picture of Kashmir is changing. Except BJP, PDP considers this law as black day and says that there was no point in removing it. Congress leader Kapil Sibal is even saying that the Kashmiri people have been deprived of their rights. Recently a petition against Article 370 has also been filed by Kapil Sibal.
It is being said by the Bharatiya Janata Party that now the rights are being received. People are on the path of development. There is an atmosphere of happiness, people have got employment. The biggest concern is the youth, who are unemployed and they are tricked and taken to the furnace of terror, in which there is no option but to repent.
After the removal of Article 370, the crackdown on fake notes has been tightened. But the main issue there is employment. Due to snowfall there, hardly work is available for 170 days out of 365 days in a year. In which we collect the useful things in our everyday life and run the work.
Most of the people are living their life from homestay, hotel, tourist people only. There is a flood of tourists now.
The beauty here is incomparable. The water of the river looks blue. Internet has not yet reached the village. Mobile signal is available in some high altitude areas. The areas which are very close to Pakistan and India, there two clocks are visible in the mobile. There is a time difference between the two. One is the clock of India and the other is of Pakistan, because of this the people of the village and the tourists coming here also get confused about the time.
