सामान्य निर्देश :

(i) सभी प्रश्न अनिवार्य हैं।

(ii) इस प्रश्न-पत्र में कुल 13 प्रश्न हैं।

(iii) प्रश्न-पत्र तीन खण्डों में विभाजित किया गया है — क, ख और ग।

(iv) खण्ड क में प्रश्न संख्या 1 से 7 हैं, प्रत्येक प्रश्न 2 अंकों का है।

(v) खण्ड ख में प्रश्न संख्या 8 से 10 हैं, प्रत्येक प्रश्न 3 अंकों का है।

(vi) खण्ड ग में प्रश्न संख्या 11 से 13 हैं, प्रत्येक प्रश्न 4 अंकों का है।

(vii) कुछ प्रश्नों में आंतरिक विकल्प दिए गए हैं।

खण्ड क

1. दो तरीकों को सूचीबद्ध कीजिए जिनके द्वारा एक कपड़ा व्यापारी उपभोक्ताओं को धोखा दे सकता है। (2)

    

2. (क) एफ.एस.एस.ए.आई. (FSSAI) का पूर्ण रूप क्या है ?

   (ख) एफ.एस.एस.ए.आई. (FSSAI) के दो महत्त्वपूर्ण कार्य लिखिए । (1+1=2)

    

   अथवा

   मिलावट किसे कहते हैं ? दूध में मिलाए जाने वाले किन्हीं दो मिलावटी पदार्थों के नाम लिखिए । (2)

    

3. एक कम कीमत वाले आहार की योजना बनाने के लिए कोई दो तरीके सुझाइए । (2)

    

   अथवा

   वृद्धों के लिए आहार की योजना बनाते समय आपको किन दो बातों का ध्यान रखना चाहिए ? (2)

    

4. कपड़ों की परिसज्जा में कड़क करने वाले पदार्थों की क्या भूमिका है ? निम्नलिखित में प्रत्येक के लिए एक उपयुक्त कड़क करने वाले पदार्थ का नाम लिखिए : (1+1=2)

    

   (क) सूती कपड़े

   (ख) रेशमी कपड़े

5. आहार आयोजन के दो लाभ लिखिए । (2)

    

6. निम्नलिखित के लिए कारण बताइए : (1+1=2)

    

   (क) अच्छी भोजन योजना में बचे हुए खाने का प्रयोग होता है ।

   (ख) चनों को पकाने से पहले रात को भिगोना चाहिए ।

7. डिटर्जेंट (अपमार्जक) की तुलना में साबुन के दो लाभ लिखिए । (2)

    

General Instructions:

(i) All questions are compulsory.

(ii) There are total 13 questions.

(iii) The question paper is divided into three sections – A, B and C.

(iv) Section A has question numbers 1 to 7 of 2 marks each.

(v) Section B has question numbers 8 to 10 of 3 marks each.

(vi) Section C has question numbers 11 to 13 of 4 marks each.

(vii) There are internal choices in some questions.

SECTION A

1. List down two ways in which a cloth merchant may cheat consumers. (2)

    

2. (a) What is the full form of FSSAI?

   (b) Write two important functions of FSSAI. (1+1=2)

    

   OR

   What is adulteration? Name any two adulterants added in milk. (2)

    

3. Suggest any two ways to plan a low cost meal. (2)

    

   OR

   Which two points should you keep in mind while planning meals for the elderly? (2)

    

4. What is the role of stiffening agents in finishing of clothes? Name one stiffening agent suitable for each of the following: (1+1=2)

    

   (a) Cotton clothes

   (b) Silk clothes

5. Write two advantages of meal planning. (2)

    

6. Give reason for the following: (1+1=2)

    

   (a) Good meal planning utilizes left-over foods.

   (b) Chanas (Gram) should be soaked overnight before cooking.

7. Write two advantages which soaps have over detergents. (2)

    

खण्ड ख / SECTION B

1. भोजन की योजना परिवार के सदस्यों की आयु, व्यवसाय तथा उनके लिंग से प्रभावित होती है । उचित उदाहरण देते हुए समझाइए । (3)

    

   (Meal planning is affected by age, occupation and sex of the family members. Explain, giving suitable examples.) (3)

    

2. रमा को घर पर अपनी रेशमी साड़ी धोने का उचित तरीका सुझाइए । साड़ी का संग्रह करते समय उसे कौन-सी चार सावधानियाँ ध्यान में रखनी चाहिए ? (3)

    

   अथवा

   आपकी माँ अपनी सूती साड़ी को माँड लगाना चाहती हैं। उन्हें माँड बनाने की विधि तथा उसे लगाने का तरीका समझाइए । (3)

    

   (Suggest to Rama a suitable method of washing her silk saree at home. Which four precautions should she keep in mind while storing the saree ?) (3)

    

   OR

   (Your mother wants to starch her cotton saree. Explain to her a method of preparing starch and how it is to be applied.) (3)

    

3. उपभोक्ता के रूप में, आपके समक्ष अनेक समस्याएँ आई होंगी। किन्हीं तीन समस्याओं पर विस्तार से चर्चा कीजिए । (3)

    

   (As a consumer, you may have encountered many problems. Discuss any three problems in detail.) (3)

    

खण्ड ग / SECTION C

1. आपने जब अपनी अलमारी से पहनने के लिए एक सफेद सूती कमीज़ निकाली तो उस पर दाग पाया ।

   (क) आप इस दाग की पहचान कैसे करेंगे ?

   (ख) दागों को उनके मूल स्रोत के आधार पर वर्गीकृत कीजिए । (1½+2½=4)

    

   (You took out a white cotton shirt from your cupboard to wear and found a stain on it.)

    

   (a) How would you identify this stain ?

    

   (b) Classify the stains on the basis of their origin. (1½+2½=4)

    

2. मूल भोजन समूहों की सूची बनाइए । किन्हीं तीन भोजन समूहों में प्रत्येक में उपस्थित एक मुख्य पोषक तत्त्व का नाम भी लिखिए । (4)

    

   अथवा

   संतुलित आहार क्या होता है ? अपनी माँ को छह सुझाव दीजिए जिनके द्वारा वह विभिन्न भोजन समूहों का प्रयोग करते हुए परिवार के लिए संतुलित आहार का प्रयोजन कर सके । (4)

    

   (Make a list of basic food groups. Also write one major nutrient each present in any three food groups.) (4)

    

   OR

   (What is balanced diet? Give six tips to your mother about how she can use different food groups while planning balanced meals for the family.) (4)

    

3. आपने अपने छोटे भाई को बाज़ार से हल्दी पाउडर लाने के लिए कहा। उसके द्वारा लाए गए हल्दी पाउडर का रंग अत्यधिक चमकीला था ।

   (क) उस मिलावटी रंग की पहचान कीजिए जो हल्दी पाउडर में मिला हो सकता है ।

   (ख) बताइए कि मिलावटी हल्दी पाउडर का सेवन करने से स्वास्थ्य पर कौन-से दो दुष्प्रभाव होंगे ।

   (ग) ऐसे दो तरीके सुझाइए जिनसे आप बाज़ार से मिलावटी खाद्य पदार्थों को खरीदने से बच सकते हैं । (1+1+2=4)

    

   (You asked your younger brother to bring turmeric powder from the market. The turmeric powder which he brought was extra bright in colour.)

    

   (a) Identify the adulterant colour which may be present in turmeric powder.

    

   (b) State two ill effects on health by consuming this adulterated turmeric powder.

    

   (c) Suggest two ways by which you can avoid buying adulterated food from the market. (1+1+2=4)
